The new iOS and Android apps are a key part of the WPL digital branch.
We are currently developing proof-of-concept apps for both platforms that can interact with a dedicated Evergreen instance and a Drupal-powered CMS/hub with mock WPL data.
Why are we doing this now?
- To demonstrate technical competence
- To demonstrate our engagement with and interest in the WPL project
- To get a jump start on the agile development process
- To get an early read on any bottlenecks and focus areas (starting with simple-but-integrated systems rather than developing siloed systems fur future integration)
- To inform the discovery process
- To give both teams useful, tangible points of reference as we discuss planned functionality and design
